13 June 2015, Adelaide. A sell-out audience attended the opening night of this world premiere tribute to Antonio “Tom” Carlos Jobim by singers Vince Jones and Alda Rezende.

 

There was an air of expectation as Vince Jones walked onto the stage – and he didn’t disappoint.

Effortlessly cool, the introspective singer connected with the audience on a more intimate level with “Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars”, “Wave” and “How Insensitive”. His phrasing and interpretation are second to none.
